Amyβs passion to teach Pilates grew from her own personal journey of healing from a back injury. She found that Pilates not only strengthened her body and eased her back pain, but it also helped her find a deeper sense of awareness and connection to her body - improving her posture and feeling more aligned.
Sharing the meaning behind the movements is what really resonates with Amy. She encourages a deeper connection through intentional, mindful movements and believes in the mind-body benefits of a consistent practice to help us move with more ease and grace in our daily lives.
Amy has completed training with Balanced Body and continues to benefit under the guidance and teachings of Kelly and Eric.
Originally hailing from Australia, she loves the smell of the sea and salt. Outside of the studio, you can find her running after her two active children, eating, and exploring her way around the Bay Area.
