Cancellation Policy & FAQ
Indigo Pilates adheres to a strict 24-hour cancellation policy for both group classes and private sessions. Because space is limited and waitlists are common, we charge in full for cancellations that occur within the 24 hours prior to your reservation.

Currently, reformer classes hold up to 9 students and chair classes hold up to 8. Students are appropriately distanced for comfort and safety.

If you’re a brand new Pilates student without experience, we recommend either the 2-class Intro Series or private sessions, depending on your needs and physical condition. If you’re experienced, please chat with us about which class level or option will fit you best.

Drop-ins are not available for Group Reformer sessions, except for those students on monthly memberships looking to purchase additional sessions. Private and Duet sessions may be purchased as single or multiple-session packages.

No, each student must acquire their own, separate Package or Membership, with the exception of Duet session packages, which are routinely shared.

If you’re on a package, you may reserve as many sessions as you have prepaid. If you’re on a Core Membership, you may reserve up to 4 months in advance.

No, with the exception of Core Members. Our Core Memberships allow unpaid reservations up to 4 months in advance. For example, if your monthly payment occurred on August 1st but you want to reserve for September 2nd, a pop-up window will show, asking you if you want to reserve your session unpaid. Select “Yes” to complete the reservation.

Either follow the prompts in MindBody (MBO) or contact us to set a temporary password for your account.

Core Memberships require that you maintain a card on file in our secure system. In all other cases, doing so is optional.

You may log into your account to enter new card information or contact us by phone or in person to do it for you. For your security, please do not email or text card information to the studio.

Please contact us. We’ll help you schedule your first few classes and walk you through the process so that you may make class reservations on your own in the future. Private sessions may not be scheduled online; please contact us for assistance.

Please refer to your Membership Terms, which may be accessed from your MBO account when you sign in. We strive to keep things as clear and fair as possible. As long as you provide the required written notice, and your request falls within the rules of your agreement, we’ll be happy to take care of it for you.

As long as you have approval from your doctor, yes. If you’re brand new to Pilates, private sessions or a specific, prenatal-focused group (when available) are the best ways to begin.

Absolutely, please add your name to the list. Cancellations occur often and you’ll be notified when a spot opens up. Waitlists also help us determine when there’s a need to add classes!

Yes, Pilates was developed by Joseph Pilates to benefit anyone, but first, to heal himself from chronic illness. We have male students and male instructors. Even men who exercise regularly in other capacities can benefit greatly.

We often recommend 2 or more sessions per week. However, students who do just 1 session per week still experience important changes in their flexibility, strength and awareness, albeit at a more gradual pace. Learning Pilates is an ongoing process and the more you do, the quicker you are able to embody the principles in your life, day to day.

In many cases, yes, with modifications; however, private sessions are often preferable to groups. Overall, it depends on your particular circumstances and where you are at in your healing process. In some cases, we may request that you provide a doctor’s approval.

No, we do not accept insurance. Some students have had success with cost reimbursement via an HSA (Health Savings Account). Inquire with your insurance provider.

No, Pike & Plank does not have independent workout options available.

Indigo Yoga and Indigo Pilates are two separate, but related businesses. Passes are not interchangeable. If you’d like to do both, we highly recommend it! Ask us about a special promotion to try something new.

Yes, it’s one of the best ways to deepen your practice. You’ll find that private sessions make your group workouts even better and vice versa.

Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Many teenagers benefit greatly from learning Pilates. It can help with posture, sports-related skills, injury prevention, confidence and concentration.

No. Pike & Plank instructors, though highly experienced trainers, are not physical therapists. Talk with your physical therapist or medical provider to see if they feel Pilates is a good fit for you.

Yes, we are happy to arrange a private class for you and your friends for a separate fee. We also offer duet sessions. Duets are two-person, private sessions that you can share with a friend, sibling, spouse or even teenage child.
